Complete MBR treatment in a shipping container — deployed and operational in 2–5 days.

The CG Containerised MBR Reuse System™ is a fully integrated, factory-built, and tested wastewater treatment system housed within a standard 20-ft or 40-ft ISO shipping container incorporating the MBR process for production of high-quality reuse-grade treated water. All components — screen, feed pump, MBR aeration tank with submerged membrane modules, treated water tank, aeration blower, control panel, and chemical dosing for membrane maintenance — are pre-installed, piped, wired, and commissioned at the factory. On-site installation requires only a level concrete pad, incoming sewage pipe connection, electrical supply, and treated water outlet — enabling deployment in days rather than months.
Sewage is pumped into the container's inlet where a fine screen (1–2 mm) removes coarse solids. Screened sewage enters the aeration tank where activated sludge microorganisms degrade BOD and COD. Air supplied by the blower maintains aerobic conditions and scours the submerged membrane modules. Treated water is drawn through hollow-fibre membranes (0.04 μm) by slight vacuum and collected in the permeate tank. Automated backwash cycles reverse-flush membranes every 8–12 minutes. Periodic chemical enhanced backwash (CEB) with sodium hypochlorite restores membrane permeability. Excess sludge is wasted to the sludge tank and removed by vacuum tanker.
