High-colour, alkaline effluent from dyeing, printing, washing, and finishing — treated to NEQS standards using CAV-DAF primary and SBR biological systems.
Textile and dyeing wastewater is characterised by high colour intensity, elevated COD (500–5,000 mg/L), strong alkalinity, and highly variable composition depending on dyestuff and process. Critical GREEN's CAV-DAF system provides 60–80% colour removal at the primary stage; the downstream SBR handles residual BOD/COD; a multimedia filter polishes SS for NEQS-compliant discharge.
CAV-DAF with appropriate coagulants (PAC, polyferric sulphate) achieves 60–80% colour and high SS removal. SBR removes residual BOD and COD. Multimedia filter polishes to <20 mg/L SS.
